Dr. Katherine Pang is an entrepreneur who has launched and owned three companies since 1989. Her first company sold to a publicly held company in 1996. Her second company was launched as an ancillary business with a national 100 law firm and then was acquired by a vertical company in 1999. Her third company was founded in 2001. 

Dr. Pang has conducted leadership, management, and specialized courses for manufacturing companies including Weir SPM, Turbomeca, as well as the City of Arlington along with numerous top 100 law firms and firms in private industry. During the course of her career, Dr. Pang has worked for public agencies, governmental agencies, private industries, and banks. Dr. Pang has over 20 years of entrepreneurial and operational experience in professional services, manufacturing and education oriented companies. Dr. Pang has served as founder, president, CEO, COO and CFO of several companies over the last 20 years. Prior to forming Corporate Growth Strategists in 2003, Katherine was recruited to serve initially as COO/CFO and General Counsel for a Dallas-based CNC precision and assembly manufacturing company to effectuate a restructure of corporate obligations and operations. The successful reduction in corporate indebtedness and the substantial increase in cash flow flowing from operational and financial changes resulted in her promotion to interim CEO and General Counsel for a period of 12-months. Katherine has also served as COO and General Counsel for Technology Training Services Corporation a technology training company delivering services in Europe under Unites States Government contracts. 

Dr. Katherine Pang has served as a faculty member at the University of Texas at Tyler and has been an adjunct faculty member in the law and business/ schools of many universities including the Stern School of Business at New York University, the Graduate School of Management at the University of Texas, Dallas, Pepperdine University, USC, Golden Gate University, the University of California, Irvine, Regent University, Argosy University, and Northeastern University. She is currently the Program Director for Psychology and Counseling at Criswell College. Dr. Katherine Pang works with gifted and talented students to address the demands of their programs as well as those who are underachieving to develop the skills to perform at higher levels. Dr. Pang performs gifted and talented assessment and other cognitive and intelligence testing. Dr. Pang is a member of the Association of Educational Therapists.


Dr. Pang has developed a metacognitive assessment that proves that there is a strong link between academic success and the development of metacognitive skills. Dr. Pang's research in metacognition, the awareness of one's abilities to develop and manage one's learning process, has produced a model of metacognitive expertise that allows students to adapt to various instruction styles and overcome barriers to learning. Dr. Pang has worked with universities in developing academic success programs. Dr. Pang is a member of MENSA.  


Dr. Pang received her PhD from Texas A&M University Commerce in 2008 and her Master of Divinity and Master of Theology from Talbot School of Theology in 1994 and 1996. Dr. Pang also has two law degrees, her JD from the University of Dayton School of Law and her LLM in Taxation from Georgetown University Law School. She received her MBA from Texas A&M University - Commerce and a Masters of Education from the University of Texas at Brownsville. Dr. Pang is a licensed psychologist.
